ALBAYZIN EVALUATION CHALLENGES

Papers must be written in English and submitted in PDF following the Interspeech 2018 format.

ALBAYZIN EVALUATION CHALLENGES

This year evaluations shall focus around TV broadcast content.
Thanks to the collaboration of Corporación Televisión Española (RTVE) and Cátedra RTVE de la Universidad de Zaragoza, a database of TV shows of different genres will be distributed to the participants.

Four evaluations are proposed:
• Speech to Text Challenge (S2TC) organized by RTVE and Universidad de Zaragoza
• Speaker Diarization Challenge (SDC)  organized by RTVE and Universidad de Zaragoza
• Multimodal Diarization Challenge (MDC) organized by RTVE and Universidad de Zaragoza
• Search on Speech Challenge (SoSC) organized by Universidad San Pablo-CEU and AuDIaS from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid

The calendar for the evaluations is:

• June 18, 2018: Registration opens
• June 25, 2018: Release of the training and development data for S2TC, SDC and MDC.
• June 30, 2018: Release of the training and development data for SoSC.
• September 24, 2018: Registration deadline. Release of the evaluation data.
• October 21, 2018: Deadline for submission of results and system descriptions.
• October 31, 2018: Results distribute to the participants.
• Iberspeech 2018 workshop (Barcelona, November 21-23, 2018): Official public publication of the results.
