Call for Papers

IberSPEECH’2018 will be held in Barcelona, from 21 to 23 November 2018. The IberSPEECH event –the fourth of its kind using this name– brings together the X Jornadas en Tecnologías del Habla and the V Iberian SLTech Workshop events.

Following with the tradition of previous editions, Iberspeech’18 will be a three-day event, planned to promote interaction and discussion. There will be a wide variety of activities: technical papers presentations, keynote lectures, presentation of projects, laboratories activities, recent PhD thesis, discussion panels, and awards to the best thesis and papers.

IMPORTANT DATES

    • Submission opens: June 19, 2018
    • Submission abstract deadline: July 10, 2018  July 17, 2018
    • Submission full paper deadline: July 17, 2018  July 24, 2018
    • Paper notifications sent: September 16, 2018  September 25, 2018
    • Camera-ready paper due: September 24, 2018 October 7, 2018

Regular Papers must be written in English and submission will be online. Papers must be submitted in PDF following the Interspeech 2018 format. Paper length is 4 pages and one additional page for references.

PAPER SUBMISSION

Regular Papers must be written in English and submission will be online. Papers must be submitted in PDF following the Interspeech 2018 format. Paper length is 4 pages and one additional page for references. There is no minimum length requirement for papers of the special sessions project review and demos.

Upon acceptance, at least one author will be required to register and present the paper at the conference. In the case of the thesis award, it is planned that authors can participate remotely and, in this case, registration is not required.

All the papers in the conference will be accessible through the International Speech Communication Association (ISCA) Online Archive. Furthermore, it is confirmed to publish selected papers by MDPI as a special issue of the journal of Applied Sciences.
